About Biggest Little Action Group

Biggest Little Action Group is a small group of people committed to the defense of democracy, the Constitution, and human dignity in the face of the assaults of the Trump administration. We are committed to direct action.

Some actions we've done this year include displaying portraits of the victims of ICE disappearances at the federal courthouse and at Reno's baseball stadium; creating and distributing Know Your Rights information to interstate passengers on Greyhound and Amtrak; calling for citizens to make public comment at the Board of Commissioners meeting to testify against the cooperation between ICE and the county jail; and organizing opposition to the local Republican congressman and his reluctance to hold a town hall.

We're also the people responsible for displaying antifascist messages over I-80 during rush hour, and we created and deployed the giant banners at the Oct. 18, 2025 No Kings event in Reno.

Some of our individual members are involved in community defense networks like ICE Response and Court Accompaniment. We do as much as we can and welcome new ideas and new members all the time.

We are nonviolent and non-vandalizing. We work in support of democracy and the Constitution, and against the fascist actions and executive overreach of the Trump administration and its supporters and enablers. Everyone can play a role in this fight.

We began coming together in February, 2025, as a response not only to the assaults of Trump and Trumpism, but also to the conservative local style of protests, which mainly involve standing on a sidewalk waving signs at passing cars. While some of our actions are just that, we strive to do more, and constantly look for new and effective ways to express our outrage and heartbreak, and also our creativity and joy.
